Amy's Wall

Lights, cameras, action….. Amy’s Wall presented by CyclingTips and powered by Subaru has it all.

Riders in this unique event will launch themselves up the first gruelling section of the iconic Bay Street, towering above the Lorne Lifesaving Club. Check out this awesome video of Amy’s Wall, courtesy CyclingTips, to witness the action.

Last year, 80 brave riders hauled themselves up the 110 metre hill during the second edition of Amy’s Wall. Reaching a gradient of more than 20%, gear selection and strategy was once again the key to success.

There are some incredible prizes on offer, including the following cash prizes: $300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, $100 and for 3rd across both the men’s and women’s categories. There will also be a $200 cash prize ‘best hurt face’.

With another large crowd expected in 2016 and a dusk finish, Amy’s Wall is the perfect appetiser to get you in the mood for Sunday’s Wiggle Amy’s Gran Fondo.

One of the big questions this year will be whether the mysterious ‘COG’ will return. Riding in a white morph suit and white helmet, ‘The COG’ was a crowd favourite in 2014 and 2015.
