Sunday 17th October 2025

Progressive closures are made of roads used on the course of the weekend’s major event, Amy’s Gran Fondo.

INTERACTIVE MAP OF CLOSURES

The course starts in Lorne, and travels through Deans Marsh, Forrest, Skenes Creek and Back to Lorne along the Great Ocean Road.

The principle diversion route avoiding the Great Ocean Road is via the Princes Highway through Winchelsea to Colac, then the C155 from Colac through Gellibrand to Lavers Hill and vice versa. (key local access points listed below)

In order to meet the road re-opening times which are a condition of our road closure permits, riders are required to maintain an average speed of 18 km/h. Riders falling behind the average speed will have the option to get a lift in the SAG wagon to the next Aid Station or continue under open road conditions.

Access the below in these ways;

Lorne
Use the Great Ocean Road to/from Anglesea

Apollo Bay / Skenes Creek
Use the Great Ocean Road to/from Lavers Hill

Forrest
Use the Colac – Forrest Road to/from Colac

Deans Marsh
Use the Princes Highway via Winchelsea South

Can I volunteer to assist at the event?

Yes! Many volunteers are needed to assist the event team in the delivery of Amy’s Gran Fondo. Volunteers are a critical part of any major event and we love having them involved. Register to Volunteer via info@o2events.com.au
